Austin is a cultural mecca known for being pleasantly weird and delightfully unexpected. Between the amazing arts and culture scene to the captivating nightlife and world-class food, Austin has it all. It’s no wonder, then, why there’s a huge film industry here. Combined with the tech sector, arts, culture, and its varied terrain and interesting landscape, Austin is often the perfect backdrop for movies and there are several films in particular that have been made famous thanks, in part, to being filmed in Austin.
