Austin-Area Home Sales up by 9%

Austin Real Estate Market Update - November 26, 2013 - It seems the cooler weather has finally taken its toll on the Austin Housing Market and slowed home sales down a bit.  However, the Ausitn Board of Realtors have still reported a 9% increase in sales during Ocotber 2013 when compared to Ocotber 2012.  The Board was also able to report a 9% increase in the Austin Median Home Sales Price for the same period. 


The Austin Housing Market has continued to out produce its 2012 production this year.  This is even considering the slow decline in sales over the late summer and fall months.  Although, the decline of sales in late summer and fall months is

 Exciting News! Shake Shack is Coming to Austin!

 

Watch out In-N-Out, there is another popular burger joint coming to Austin in 2014.  Shake Shack, a highly acclaimed burger, hot dog and custard joint, will be opening in the new Lamar Union development on South Lamar. The Austin menu will feature all the typical Shake Shack items from burgers slathered with a secret-recipe to flattop hot dogs, frozen custard and alcoholic beverages.
 

 

Shake Shack began as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Garden and was created by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG). EastPark in Austin

 

Paying for parking in Austin is now easier thanks to EasyPark, which is a portable device that allows drivers to transfer money online to the system.  The device is displayed in a vehicle’s windshield to show the driver is paid up and the driver decides the amount and time.
