After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a degree in accounting in hand I passed the CPA exam and took off to Tulsa to pursue a career in public accounting. I spent seven years working with a multi-national accounting firm and teaching at a local junior college before moving to Texas in the early eighties to begin my background in real estate accounting and tax.
Since then I've have spent most of my career working with developers, commercial and residential builders, engineers and investors helping them to build, acquire, sell and exchange real estate using IRS §1031 exchange rules. When I decided to step away from a career in accounting and finance it seemed that building a successful real estate company was a logical transition.
I see being a REALTOR® as more of an educator. I love helping people, educating them on the process of buying or selling a home or guiding them as investors to find the right deal to meet their individual investment criteria.
