I've had my license since 1984. I love real estate. I have managed millions of dollars of properties for third-party companies. I've also been a Relocation Director in Austin for a small boutique real estate company.
Currently I am the Director of Compliance for the Austin Northwest Market Center. We have around 500 agents and it keeps me on my toes reviewing all listings, contracts and licensing. It's very similar to working with sellers and buyers because I'm still helping with questions about real estate.
I have various family members that are in real estate. I have a daughter, Meaghan Newman. She is an agent with Keller Williams Northwest Austin as well. Also, my partner, David Wheatley is licensed and has been in real estate for a few years as well.
I moved to Lakeway in 1997 from Plano. But in 2003 moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth. After living in Ft. Worth for three years, I decided I missed Austin too much and I moved back. I decided life is too short to live somewhere you don't really love. I'm back for good! I truly miss all my friends and associates in Dallas/Ft. Worth, but I won't miss the traffic...
While real estate was fabulous in Dallas, you truly have to move away sometimes to know what you are missing. I've lived in Texas most of my life and that's where I feel I belong. I've relocated and know what people experience and endure when they move. It affects all family members and can be a real stressor. Our job is to help people achieve the least stress, the highest price if selling or lowest price if buying, in the shortest time or according to their needs. That's what I'm good at.
I am available for referrals from our satisfied clients and other agents located across the country. I would truly appreciate your referrals and actively work them with my partners. I gladly pay agents referral fees for the opportunity to assist your friends and family.
